The Sundome 2 Person Tent is perfect for the single backpacker who doesn’t mind a little extra weight to carry for the extra space you get. Setup is very easy by simply running 2 poles through the included continuous pole sleeves and should take even a novice backpacker less than 10 minutes to set up. Sundome advertises this tent for 2 people, but it would be a tight fit for 2 people unless it’s 2 small kids. If it’s just one person you can fit a twin or full-size air bed comfortably and the 4-foot height in the center is nice for some extra liveability that can be hard to find in a 2 person tent. The carrying weight is about 6 pounds so it’s not lightweight, but if you’ll be out for a while and need something reliable this tent will make you happy. You get very robust rain protection with a 75D polyester rainfly and a rear window to provide cross ventilation along with an extra sealed floor. For under $50, this tent is very affordable with a ton of value.

PRO’s: Under $50, great rain and weather protection, good circulation, very easy and basic setup, comfy for one person with a full-size air mattress

CONs: Tight fit for 2 people plus sleeping bags and gear, some leakage under extreme weather conditions. 4.5 stars
